Jansen Sheet Music Cabinet
MINI REVIEW: A Great Way to Store Your Music
Bookshelves are best for storing books and CD shelving best preserves Compact Discs. If you need to store sheet music, a specially-designed sheet music cabinet by Jansen will protect your printed music for years to come.
By storing your sheet music with care, you can ensure a lifetime of use for any music you have in your library. This way you can save the editions (along with all the bowings, fingerings and markings that accumulate over time) that you like the most.
By conserving your printed music, you will also save a lot of money, because you won’t have to go buying more copies of music due to your music being damaged by other inadequate storage.
My wife and I have been quite satisfied with the five Jansen music cabinets we purchased a number of years ago. Each cabinet has nine drawers in which sheet music is stored flat. These shallow drawers are just deep enough to store groups of related works together, while not being so deep as to waste space, if you just need to house one or two pieces together.
The cabinets are made in the USA with your choice of a beautifully polished satin or high gloss finish, constructed with solid Hard Maple drawer fronts and Maple veneer on the top and sides. You can choose among about a half dozen different wood colors, from Ebony to White.
Well worth the price!
